Biography

Nancy Henry, 89, of Brighton, Colorado died on February 11, 2009 in her home. She was born on August 30, 1919 in Longmont, Colorado to Brian and Margaret (Howe) Rundle. She graduated from Longmont High School and earned her Home Economics Degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. She married LaMar C. Henry on May 28, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas. They were married for 64 years. He preceded her in death in August of 2006.

Although Nancy was a teacher in Ft. Lupton, Brighton and Goodland, Kansas, her ultimate career was a consummate homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Brighton PEO and the Brighton First Presbyterian Church.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Robert (Linda) Henry of Eaton, CO, Charles (Nancy) Henry of Grandby, CO and John Henry of Ft. Collins, CO; daughters, Marinan (Don) Keeling of Pleasanton, TX, Nancy (Jerry) Meyring of Alliance, NE, Nadine Henry of Gunnison, CO and Margaret (John) Gubber of Brighton, CO; brother, Robert (Jane) Rundle of Longmont, CO; thirteen grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
