Biography

Effie was born in 1869. She was the daughter of William Rusk and Sarah Baker.

She married Harry Gates (b. 1869 - bef. 1920) in 1893 in Indianapolis.^[1] They had one son:

John R. Gates 1894-

She was widowed in 1920 and living with her brother John. In 1930 she was living with her widowed sister-in-law, and son John Gates was living with them.

She passed away in 1957.
