Biography
Per was born in 1732 in Råby-Rönö, Södermanland, Sweden, about 10 miles north of Nyköping.
He was the son of Pahr Joransson (alternately Per Göransson, Per Goransson, Pehr Jornsson or Par Joransson; 1696-1777) and Maria Joransson (born Larsdotter; 1690-1759), both of whom were also born in Råby-Rönö.
He had six siblings: Anna Larson (born Perdotter), Lars Råström, Maria Persdotter, Jonas Persson, Catharina Walmstedt (born Råström), and Brita Persdotter.
He made his living as a brewer in Nyköping. He married Sigrid Maria Lenning in either 1773 or 1774 and fathered one daughter, Maria Margareta Råström, who was born in 1779.
He passed away in 1784.
