Richard Burt married to Glenda Tunmer. Her mother was Audrey Power, daughter of Gerald POWER. According to all information and sources I have of GERALD POWER, there was never an "s" at the end of the name. I have a citation from the King giving Gerald the OBE Military Cross, surely he didn't get the name wrong. Where is your information coming from?
