Sir William Lewis Salusbury-Trelawny, 10th Bt. was born on 26 August 1844 at Devonport, Devon, England. He was the son of Sir John Salusbury-Trelawny, 9th Bt. and Harriet Jane Tremayne. He married, firstly, Jessy Rose Mary Murray, daughter of John Murray, on 14 July 1868. He married, secondly, Harriett Buller Kitson, daughter of Reverend James Buller Kitson, on 17 December 1872. He died on 30 November 1917 at age 73.
Dropped use of ‘Salusbury-' for all except formal purposes, e.g. legal documents, as have his male-line descendants. He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) (Cornwall). He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) He succeeded to the title of 10th Baronet Trelawny. He was Sheriff Cornwall and 1895, Captain Royal Cornwall Rangers in 1891.
