'New Project about Marc's biological family'
https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:The_Symmers&errcode=new_profile

Biography

Marc's biological mother was 14 yrs old when she got pregnant with Claude, a man from Prince Edward's island. She gave birth at 15 years old and gave him away for adoption.

Marc was adopted 2 times by 2 families who brought him back at the nursery. He was adopted for good by Mary and Paul Samson when he was a few months old. His birth name was Benjamin Robert, which was later changed by his adoptive parents for Marc Robert Samson. He was severely beaten by his adoptive father. He was the older brother and hade to take care of his 2 younger siblings. He was the only one beaten in the family.

He found his birth mother in the 1990s. Her name was Eleanor Symmers, daughter of Alexander and Dorothy (Brunet) Symmers. Marc had 3 biological step-sisters: Debbie (who tragically died in 1978), Monica and Janet.

His birth father was found through dna tests. His biological family (on his father's side) is from and still live in Prince-Edward-Island. It's a family well known on the island, playing country music in bars, making albums. Unfortunatlly, his father is no longer living; Claude wasn't married and didn't have kids (to his knowledge) when he died.

Marc got hired by Hydro-Québec beginning of the 80's and worked for it until he retired.

He suffered depression through hypothyroidism which was unknown in the 80's. He eventually got a type-2 bipolar diagnosis.

His first wife was Mireille Duval. They first seperated beginning of 90's, got back together and seperated again, for good, in late 90's. His 2nd wife was Sylvie Hogue.

He had 2 biological daughters, a step-daughter and a step-son.
