There was a 1745 York County document that specifically details Mary Anne as the daughter of John Sandiver and goes so far as to say that Mary Anne and brother John were the "only" children of John Sandiver, and were brother and sister of "the whole blood." This document goes on to say that she intermarried with William Cook and they were the parents of William Cook "the lessor, her eldest son and heir at law, who attained the age of 21 sometime in 1709." This document was cited as YORK COUNTY DEEDS, ORDERS, WILLS ETC. AND INVENTORIES (series). Lewes, DE: Colonial Roots.
