Biography

Joren Tollefsdatter was born in Norway in at Lyse farm, Høle/Strand parish in 1843, the daughter of Tollef Olsen, Lyse, and Chresti Halvorsdatter.^[1] She was married to Thosten Sanmark, with whom she had three children. She passed away in 1933 at Scotland, Bon Homme, South Dakota, United States. She is buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Artesian, Sanborn County, South Dakota, USA.^[2]
