Biography

She had a child born in 1909. (Mary May "Mae" Acquin). Most people don't marry or have children before age 15. 1909-15=1894.

Joseph Acquin (b. Devon, NB) and his wife, Mary Ann Sapier, would have been born before 1894.

I would suspect that Mary Ann Sapier was born at Devon. Since there is no other known location for her thus far, I'll place that as location of birth, because she lived there when her daughter was born, and mark as "uncertain" until more information becomes available.

Now that the other children are placed on this profile, we can see that the eldest known child (Nancy) was born in 1905. We have to re-calculate the birth year for both of her parents. 1905-15= 1890. Joseph L. Acquin and Mary Ann Sapier would have been born before 1890.

The death record for her daughter, Mary Mae Violet (Acquin) Brooks states that Mary Ann Sapier was born at Tobique.
