Derk Sarijs (abt. 1630 - bef. 1727)

Biography

Derk was born about 1630. He married to Jantjen Kersten on the 13th of February 1666 in Gendt ^[1]. According to their marriage record, both spouses came from Gendt. His wife died young, on the 20th of September 1674 Derck remarried to Aertjen Rutten ^[2].

In 1676 he had to pay taxes in Gendt ^[3]

He died before the 25th of November 1727 ^[4]. At the time three daughters were still alive: Rutje, Geertruid and Willemina.
