Alfonso Iennaco, age 27 (b. 1894), married, arrives on the Duca d’Aosta on 5 July 1921 in New York. He last lived in Bracigliano, Italy. He is joining his uncle Antonio Romano at 621 Main St., Springfield, MA. Alfonso travels with his wife Anna Sarno, 25 (b. 1896), and Giuseppa Pennino, 8 (b. 1913). Alfonso, a barber, leaves his father, Vincenzo behind in Italy. The child is of unknown relation. She is also going to Springfield, joining her father Archimede at 476 Main St.[3]

Alfonso and Anna immigrated in 1921. He is the proprietor of a barber shop.[4]

In the 1940 federal census of Springfield, taken 6 April, Alfonso Iennaco heads a household in Springfield. The street is not named.
