Anna marries Alfonso Francesco Iennaco on 4 May 1921 in Bracigliano.[2]
Alfonso Iennaco, age 27 (b. 1894), married, arrives on the Duca d’Aosta on 5 July 1921 in New York. He last lived in Bracigliano, Italy. He is joining his uncle Antonio Romano at 621 Main St., Springfield, MA. Alfonso travels with his wife Anna Sarno, 25 (b. 1896), and Giuseppa Pennino, 8 (b. 1913). Alfonso, a barber, leaves his father, Vincenzo behind in Italy. The child is of unknown relation. She is also going to Springfield, joining her father Archimede at 476 Main St.[3]
Alfonso Iennaco, 36 (b. 1894), and his wife Anna, 36 (b. 1894), both born in Italy, live at 1184 Wilcox St, in Springfield, in the 1930 federal census, with their son, Vincent, 7 (b. 1923), and daughter Josephine, 1 (b. 1929), both born in MA. Alfonso and Anna immigrated in 1921. He is the proprietor of a barber shop.[4]
In the 1940 federal census of Springfield, taken 6 April, Alfonso Iennaco heads a household in Springfield. The street is not named. They are near a large lodging house (the previous image) and Convent of Holy Cross (the institution named at the top of this page). Alfonso, 46 (b. 1894), and his wife Anna, 46 (b. 1894), are both born in Italy. Their children at home, all born in MA, are Vincent, 17 (b. 1923), Josephine, 11 (b. 1929), and Francesco, 7 (b. 1933). Also in their home is a lodger, Antonio Basile, 35 (b. 1905), born in Italy, who is unmarried. Alfonso and Antonio are both barbers in a shop that Alfonso owns.[5]
Alfonso dies on 8 December 1975 in Springfield, MA.[6][7]
Josephine marries Frank Calvanese.[8]
Josephine, a widow, dies at age 88 on 5 August 2017. Her brothers, Frank and Vincent, also predecease her.[8]
