Herbert was born in 1740.

Marriage
Herbert Sawyer of Wellington in Somerset and Louisa Maria Lloyd of this parish (St George, Hanover Square, London) were married in this church by licence.. 27 July 1792. Signed H Sawyer, Louisa Maria Lloyd, witnesses; Robert Lloyd, Rachel Lloyd, Elizabeth Meyrick. [1]
Death: He passed away in 1833. In his Will he described himself as 'Kings commander of the Bath. He included the following in his Will;
Daughter Louisa received £1,400 within a month then £34,000 investment in annuities and shares in the Plymouth and Dartmouth Railroad.
Son William George
Late daughter Jane, wife of Captain Hope had received £20,000 on marriage.
His servants (this who had completed a year or mores employment received 6 months wages)
He had been living in Pound but recently moved to Bath
He wanted to be buried in Bath alongside parents and family members
His son, Rev William George on Melton in Leicester proved the Will. He mentioned his father in addition to being the Kings Commander of the Bath was also Admiral of the White Squadron in His Majesties Navy [2]
