Biography
Friedrich August Carl Schamalfuß (Schmalfuss) was born before 1810.
Carl married Fettchen Leichhardt, sister of noted Australian explorer, Ludwig Leichhardt, before 1830. They corresponded with Ludwig when he was in New South Wales during the 1840's.[1]
