Biography
Immigrant ancestor who came over aboard the ship Apollo that left the port of Braden, Germany 11-3-1845 and arrived at Galveston, Texas 1-20-1846. She and her husband Conrad came with children Dena, Sophie, Heinrich (b.12-26-1819 d. 5-13-1897 in Austin County) Conrad, Charles and Herman. Her husband Conrad, Charles and Herman all died aboard ship from Cholera. Sophie Pluennecke (1825-1893) Dena's sister married Friedrich Heinemann and then Fritz Craft (4-11-67)
Sophie Schmidt continued on to Buckhorn,Texas where she settled.
