Biography
Jacob F Schrieber was born 14 Aug 1872 in Iowa. He was the son of Michael Scheiber and Anna Adrian.
In 1880 he was living in Burlington, Des Moines, Iowa.[1] The household included Michael Schreiber 52, wife A. Schreiber 43, son F. Schrieber, son W. Schreiber, son Schreiber, son Schreiber, and son Jacob Schreiber 7. Michael was a stone mason. F was a cigar maker.
Jacob F Schreiber married Emily Tapelt on 21 December 1908 in Hancock, Illinois. He was the son of Michael Scheiber and Anne Adrian.[2][3][4][5][6]
In 1910 he was living in Burlington Ward 5, Des Moines, Iowa.[7] The household included Michael Schrieber 84, wife Anna Schrieber 75, daughter-in-law Emily C Schrieber 27, and son Jacob F Schrieber 36. Michael and Anna had been married 51 years. Anna was the mother of 6 children, all living. Jacob and Emily had been married 1 year. Emily had no children. Jacob was a collector for an insurance company.
In 1920 he was living in Dubuque, Dubuque, Iowa.[8] The household included Jacob F Schrieber 46, wife Emma C Schrieber 36, and daughter Frances Schrieber 6. Jacob was a salesman at a department store.
In 1940 he was living in National Judicial Township, San Diego, California.[9] The household included Jacob F Schreiber 67, and wife Emma Schreiber 58. Emma was doing housework for a private family.
He died on 28 May 1949 in San Diego, California.[10][11]
