Rita was born in 1921. She was the daughter of Thomas Schwartzman and Jennie Garmaise.^[1] She married Samuel Reznick in 1941.^[2]

She died in 2014.

Peacefully in her 94th year on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Reznick. Daughter of the late Jennie (Garmaise) and the late Thomas Schwartzman. Loving mother and mother-in- law of Allan Edward and Carolyn Rebecca Henderson Reznick, Eric William and Darlene Reznick. Cherished grandmother of Laura Lisa Henderson Reznick and Thomas Joseph Henderson Reznick. Proud great- grandmother of Rose Lavina Reznick Barnett. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jack and Sophie Milberg Schwartzman, Phyllis and Abe Pinchuk; and sister-in-law of Monica and the late Maurice Reznick, Faye and the late Edmund Schnitzer, and Rita and the late Saul Reznick. Rita will be sorely missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Monday, December 22 at 10:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
