Joseph Scoffield was born 11 July 1751 in Stamford, Fairfield, Connecticut. He died 2 December 1802 in Pound Ridge, New York. He married Sarah Benedict 6 April 1774 in Salem, Westchester, New York. He died 2 Dec 1802 in Pound Ridge, Westchester, New York. They were the parents of Daniel Scofield.
