Biography

Jane was born in about 1848. She was the daughter of Eliza Jane and Archibald Scott. Born in New Zealand in early pioneering days, she would have known none of the luxuries of her parents' homeland.

In 1867 Jane Scott married the Honorable Major Benjamin Harris. Their wedding was at The Grange, Otahuhu, Auckland on 25 April.

She passed away in 1933 at the age of 83 and was buried at Pukekohe Cemetery.
