Biography

Moses was born in 1859, the son of Iddo and Ruth (Staples) Scribner, in Eustis, Maine, where he was raised. On November 20, 1880, Moses married Cordelia Ellen Fuller, the daughter of Samuel Ruetellers and Mary Ellen (Pike) Fuller.

Moses and Cordelia would settle in Eustis where they would have the following children:

Arthur Willard Scribner (1882-1951)

Edna Mae (Scribner) Blackwell (1883-1958)

Charles Marshall Scribner (1885-1965)

Mary E. (Scribner) Curtis (1888-1963)

Milton Ruetellers Scribner (1892-1900)

Guy Bernard Scribner (1895-1977)

Elmer L. Scribner (1897-1900)

Myrtle L. (Scribner) Townsend (1904-1993)

Norris A. Scribner (1907-1989)

He passed away about 1932.
