Biography

Sarah was named as wife in the 15 January 1705/6 John Conkling of Southold, beloved wife Sarah to have 1/3 part of the lands, meadows and farm. Probate granted to her 2 Jan 1706.^[1]

John Conklin, born in Hashamonack, Southold, Suffolk, the son of John Conklin and Sarah Horton, both of England, married Sarah Scudder with whom he had children Joseph, Elizabeth and Henry Conklin and others see his will.
