Biography
Franklin was born in 1921. Son of son of Benjamin Franklin Sears (1882-) and Mattie R. He was killed in action in 1944. His father said he survived the sinking of the Helena in the battle of Kula Gulf on 6 Jul 1943. Siblings Charles Lindbergh Sears (also in the Navy) and Lorraine.
