Jack Sebbens was born on April 20, 1919 in Moruya, New South Wales, Australia, son of Joseph Sebbens (1881–1941) and Emma Susan Denham (1886–1974).

Jack married Elizabeth Olive Bell in 1938 in Moruya, New South Wales.[1]

Jack died on June 2, 2000 in Batemans Bay, New South Wales, aged 81.[2]
