Henry Seddon was born in Heaton, Lancashire, England.

Henry Seddon was born in about 1846 in Heaton, Lancashire, England, the illegitimate son of Alice Seddon. [1] His father was as James Ince. [2]

His mother died in 1849.

In 1851 he was living with his grandparents in Ainsworth Row, Heaton. [3]

He married Mary Ellen Bradshaw in 1866 in Adlington, Lancashire.[1]

In 1871 he was with his wife and 2 children in Adlington. He was a yeast dealer. [4]

As a widower, he married Ann Pennington on 29 November 1876 at St George's church, Chorley, Lancashire. [2]

In 1881 he was living with his wife and 4 children at 25 Chorley Road, Adlington, Lancashire.[5]

In 1891, he was living with his wife and children in Adlington. [6]
