Biography

Sophia (Seibert) Kossow has German Roots.

Sophia Chistina (Seibert) Kossow was born on 25 July 1842 in Wilhelminenhof, Lühburg, Güstrow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Deutschland.[1] [2] She was the daughter of Lorenz Christian Wilhelm Sievert and his wife Ernestine Dorothea Maria Wienck.

Sophia and William Kossow were married in 1870.[3] William was born on 3 July 1842 in Tarnow, Stavenhagen, Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Their children were:

In 1880, Sophia (37) was living in Center, Marshall, Kansas. [4]

In 1900, Sophia (57) was living in Marshall. [5]

Sophia died on 11 February 1914 in Marshall County, Kansas, United States.[1] She was buried in Marysville Cemetery, Marysville, Kansas.
