Charlotte Selby was born about 1864 in Lincolnshire.

She married John Cocker some 13 years her senior and from Cheshire during the second quarter of 1886 at Ashton Under Lyne in Lancashire.

In 1921 she was aged 56 and they were living with six children and a Martha Ann Cocker aged 66 at 76, Ryecroft Street, Ashton under Lyne.
