Neal was born in 1910. He was the son of Sanford Setcer. He passed away in 2010.

Neal D. Setcer, Sr. Neal D. Setcer, Sr. 100, of Moore Township, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at the St. Lukes Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. He was the husband of the late Eva A. (Ziegler) Setcer with whom he shared 66 years of marriage prior to her death in 2000. Born in Stroudsburg on April 07, 1910, he was a son of the late Sanford and Mary Jane (Rodgers) Setcer. Neal attended Neola School in Jackson Township. Neal worked as a pipe fitter for the Bethlehem Steel Co. and as a brakeman for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He retired as a self-employed plumber, electrician and heating contractor. Neals interests included reading the Bible, telling others about the blessings of Gods Kingdom, collecting interesting things, and spending time with family and friends. He was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses in 1918, and he was a member of the Forks Township as well as the Nazareth Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses congregations. Survivors: his loving family, daughter, Mary Hodson with whom he resided; three sons, James Setcer of Easton, Russell Setcer of Dardanelle, Arkansas and Neal Setcer, Jr. of Kunkletown; 10 grandchildren, Juanita Transue, Moses Hodson, Judah Hodson, Philip Hodson, James Setcer, Jr., Zachary Setcer, Jonathan Setcer, Stephanie Salinas, Lori Cassar and Sherry Phelps; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his late wife, Eva, he was preceded in death by a grandson as well as a brother, Dwight Setcer and five sisters, Beulah Burns, Grace Niece, Ruth Setcer, Natalie Long Herstine and Martha Lunte. Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 2550 Applebutter Road, Hellertown, PA 18055. Arrangements, Geo. G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., Moorestown - Bath.
