Eldest child of George Franklin Settlemier and his second wife Ann Elizabeth Rhyne.
Adam married Louisa D. Nanney 26 Jan 1854 in Tangent, Linn, Oregon.[1]
Adam was in Linn County, Oregon (Albany P. O.) in 1870.[2]
Adam had retired from farming by age 50. He was in Albany in 1880 with wife Louisa, son George, son Edward, son Thomas G., daughter Lulu, daughter Annie and daughter Lillie.[3]
