Stella married Luther Emerson Lewis (born on 2 Sep 1880 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania; son of Jesse E. Lewis and Rosetta Nettie (Rummel) Lewis). Their known children were:

Mrss. Stella C. Lewis, 80, widow of Luther E. Lewis, of 46 N. 10th Street, Indiana, died Saturday, January 8, 1966 in the Indiana Hospital. Born September 29, 1855 in White Township, Indiana County, she was the daughter of Jacob and Mary Jane Stahl Shank. Mrs. Lewis lived her entire life in the Indiana area and was a member of the First Methodist Church of Indian. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.
