Mabel Areta Shannon was born on 17 Dec 1902 in Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of John Allen Shannon (1876 - 1939) and Laura May (Tipping) Shannon (1876 - 1967).
Her brother was Wallace Duncan Hibbert Shannon (1901 - 1939).
Mabel died in 1997 aged ~94. She is buried in Dorchester Rural Cemetery, Dorchester, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada.[1]
