1861 - Head of household residing at Mains Lane, Great Bowden, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, England with his wife, children and servants. Occupation listed as Baker.[5]

Research Notes
The surname of Edward has on occasion been spelled as 'Sharpe' (such as on his daughter's marriage register), but in most records mentioning him the spelling 'Sharp' has been used. In the register for his marriage to Ann Cleaver it appears as though he signed the register personally and the surname is spelled 'Sharp', so I infer that this was the correct spelling. The cases of incorrect spelling could be due to other people transcribing his name.
