Biography
Ann (Shawcroft) Nuttall was born in Derbyshire, England.
Ann was born in 1845. She was the daughter of Henry Shawcroft and Ann Broom . [1]
Ann's mother passed away in 1850 when Ann was five years old.[2] In 1851 Ann lived with her father and sibling at Wood Street, Ripley, Derbyshire.[3]
in 1861 Ann was a Domestic Servant living at Heage, Belper, Derbyshire.[4]
Ann married John Nuttall on 6 April 1868 at All Saints Church, Darfield, Yorkshire,[5] On the same day John's sister Mary Ann married Abraham Gyte.[6]
John and Ann lived at Wombwell, Yorkshire. John worked as a coal miner. [7][8][9][10][11] They 11 children between 1869 and 1886, Their first two children were twin boys who both died soon after birth and two more of their sons died as infants,
Ann passed away in 1921, age 77. [12]
