Biography

Elizabeth was baptised on 9 September 1716 at Birstall, "Elizabeth daughter of Michael Sheard of Gomersall".^[1]

She was married to Benjamin Sheard on 24 March 1734 at Birstall: "Benjamin Sheard of Littletown and Elizabeth Sheard".^[2]

Elizabeth, like several of her family, joined the Moravian church later in life. She died on 17 September 1783 and was buried on 20 September 1783 at the Moravian burial ground at Fulneck. "Elizabeth Sheard widow", grave 693.^[3]
