In 1881, 38 year old William is living in Oldbury with his family where he is working as a coachman[7]
In 1891, 49 year old William is living in Oldbury with his children and working as a gardner[8]
Late in 1891, William remarried, this time to Mary Palmer[9][10]
In 1901, 58 year old William is living with his second wife Mary and young son Wilfred in 35 Mill Street, Bridgnorth[11]. He is working as a dairy man.
In 1911, 67 year old William is still living in 35 Mill Street with his wife Mary and son Wilfred Gerald[12]. William is working as a dairy man.

Research Notes
The FamilySearch link for 1861 only shows the page of the census with the Shepherds on it and mistakenly says it is the household of Herbert Rigger who is the 5 year old nephew of Jane Edwards, a widow who is the actual head of household.
