Biography
Obituary
Dick Sherwood lived most of his life in Clarence and Shelbina, MO, and died unexpectedly of a heart attack at work in Quincy, IL.
He served in the Army during WWII Missouri SGT Company 1 315 Infantry 70 DIV WWII Bom-ph. Married Betty Ruth Hillard in 1948. Dick was a member of the Clarence Masonic Lodge, Clarence VFW, and Clarence Christian Church.
Survived by his widow, three children John, Carol, and Brenda, his mother Mrs Ethel Sherwood, two sisters Mrs B L Edrington of Clarence and Mrs Paul Caldwell of Lakenan. His father preceded him in death. Funeral was held at the Clarence Christian Church with Rev Charles E Webb officiating. Graveside services were conducted by the Masonic Lodge and VFW.
