This census shows Mandy at age 16 living with 8 siblings and her widowed mother Ibby Sparkman Short. Her mother's name is shown as Eva but my personal knowledge is that it was Ibby. I find this census fascinating since I knew so many in it.

This 1930 census is also fascinating, Mandy is only 6 and her father Hasadore is still living. I hope to be able to see more of their history.
