Biography
Marie Josephe Sicard was born and baptized on 28 Apr 1738 in Rivière-des-Prairies, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Antoine Sicard and Marie Madeleine (Barbe) Barbe dite Abel.[1]
Josephe Sicard married Charles St-Onge, son of Charles Gareau dit St-Onge and Josephe Dequire, on 10 Oct 1757 in Contrecœur.[2]Charles passed away on 5 May 1760 in Hôpital général de Québec.
Marie Josephe Sicard, widow of Charles Gareau dit St-Onge, married Joseph (Ménard) Ménard dit Bellerose, on 25 Nov 1765 in Verchères, Province of Québec.[3]
Josephte Sicar, widow of Joseph Belrose, passed away on 18 Jun 1825 being given the age of around 87 years old on the record. Her burial was two days later in Varennes, Bas-Canada.[4]
