Note: Hezekiah (Ki) attended Chance's Boy's School, Smethwick School Board. In September, 1901 (age 11) he was presented with a "1st Class Prize for Perfect Attendance, Proficiency & Good Conduct" by W.J. Campbell, Head Master. His prize was the book, "Life Among the Indians."
In August, 1911, Ki (age 21) evidently had a problem with his leg. A card from sister Doris, visiting Detroit at the time, asked how his leg was.
In August, 1913, Ki (age 23) was staying the Mr. Charles Cherry, RFD #2, Utica, PA. A card from friend J.H.Stover(?), Struthers, Ohio, dated August 26, asked Ki when he was coming home and, "are you getting any better?"
