Biography
John was born before 1664. He was the son of Robert Sinclair and Elizabeth Douglas his first wife. He succeeded to the Baronetcy in 1678, was served heir general, 22 December 1679, and heir special 08 April 1680. He married Jean, daughter and heir of Sir John Towers, of Inverleith, Edinburgh. He passed away about 1698, and was succeeded by his son Robert Sinclair. [1]
