Biography
Walter was christened on 18th June 1842, son of cousins Caroline Marshall (1813-) and Henry Sisam (abt.1814-1870) .[1]
He emigrated from Alcester in England as a 19-year-old, along with his brothers Tom and Alfred John Sisam (1844-1928), and arrived into New Zealand in 1862, on the Matilda Wattenbach. He was a farmer and died aged 67. He is buried in Swanson Cemetery, Auckland, New Zealand.
