Biography
Uriah was born in 1874. He is the son of James Skerry and Elizabeth Mayes.
Birth - BDM-Vic #14600/1874
No death record can be found, there is a death record for his brother Leroy/Lervy (but no birth record), it is possible they are the same person, but the obit for Elizabeth reports 14 children with James & the obit for James also reports 14 children with Elizabeth.
Some have questioned if they are the same person, the birth record states he was present at the registration. Leroy's death record states he was 4 months old, this seems to suggest that they may well be twins, & Uriah's death registration has been overlooked or the record lost
