Biography
In 1875, in New Zealand, Mary Skiggs married John Henry Carson (indexed as Carsen). [1]
John and Mary registered the births of at least three children in New Zealand before emigrating to Australia.
At some stage before 1908, Mary had been widowed, for in that year, she married James Anderson [2]
Mary May Anderson passed away in 1932, aged 71 years. Her death was registered Carlton, Victoria, her parents indexed as James Skiggs and Annie Amelia Orchard. [3]

DEATHS
ANDERSON.— On the 3rd March, at 63 McArthur-square, Carlton, Mary May Anderson, widow of the late James Anderson, and loving mother of Henry, May (Mrs. Kirwood), Ada (Mrs. French), and Queenie (Mrs Scott, of Geelong), aged 71 years.
On 4th May 1932, her remains were interred in the Church of England portion of the Boroondara General Cemetery (commonly known as the Kew Cemetery). Already in the grave was her daughter, Nellie Amelia, who had predeceased her in 1897, aged 10 as well as a son, Walter, who died in 1908, aged 20. [5]
