Alma was born in 1890. She is the daughter of William Skinner and Ada Hutchinson.[1]
She married Leslie Stewart Anderson in 1914. [2]

Herald (Melbourne, Vic. : 1861 - 1954), Tuesday 20 November 1934, page 10 FORMER ACTRESS DIES "Baby Alma Skinner" Formerly a well-known figure on the stage as Baby Alma Skinner, and later , as Alma Day, Mrs Alma Ada Anderson, 44, died in a private hospital yesterday, and will be buried in the Melbourne General Cemetery tomorrow morning. "Baby Alma Skinner" went on the atage at 3 in a show called "Buy a Broom" at the Theatre Royal, and was with Maggie Moore in tire "Trilby burlesque. She left the stage to attend school, and when she returned to it took the name of Alma Day. She appeared in musical productions with Carrie Moore and Ivy Scott, and was also heard on the concert platform. Miss Day had a Conservatorium training, and was the possessor of a very good voice. She retired from the stage after her marriage. The funeral will leave her brother's residence. Mount Alexander Road, Essen-don, at 11 am. tomorrow. The funeral arrangements will be carried out by Armstrong and Whittle.
