Biography
When Margaret Elizabeth Smith was born on August 22, 1830, in Hull, Illinois, her father, Charles, was 23, and her mother, Drusilla, was 23. She married Absolom Graves Burke on September 12, 1850, in Pike, Illinois. They had seven children in 16 years. She died on December 29, 1918, in Baker, Kansas, at the age of 88.[1]
