Biography

Agnes Smith was born in about 1847 in Merrow, Surrey. Her mother's maiden name was Dew.

Agnes married John Gorringe, a builder, on 26 October 1871 at Merrow.

Agnes died on 3 Dec 1924, aged 77, at her home in Lower Manor Road, Farncombe. According to the register, she was buried the same day in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section, with her mother-in-law.

John died on 28 Dec 1926, aged 82, at his home in Lower Manor Road, Farncombe, Godalming. He was buried on 1 Jan 1927 with his father.
