Phelps/Branchport- William B. “Bill” Snow, age 82, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Clifton Springs Hospital.
Friends may call Monday, (Oct. 24th) from 10-11 a.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home, Gorham, NY. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Rev. Gale Conners will officiate. Burial will be in Little Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, P.O. Box 23204, Rochester, NY 14692. Bill was born in Waterloo, NY. He was the son of the late Bernard H. Snow and Effie May Lathey Snow. Bill was a graduate of Geneva High School in 1952. He grew up on a dairy farm on Turk Rd. in Geneva and worked on that family farm until 1965. Bill also worked for Red Star Trucking Co. retiring in 1996. He enjoyed working on cars and taking care of his family and friends.
Bill is survived by four children, Daniel (Gail) Snow, Joan Smith, Lori (Mark) Abraham and James (Cathy) Snow. He was a loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Bill is also survived by step-children, Bill, Beverly, Edward, Debra, Rose, Eileen and Deidre; three brothers, Norman/Jack (Karen) Snow, Donald (Elaine) Snow and Gerald (Evelyn) Snow; several nieces and nephews and former wife, Margaret Scale.
He was predeceased by his wife, Pauline Gardner Snow in 2005; son, Michael Snow in 1968; and step-children John and Leo Mander.
