Harriet Soper married Almon Pitts.[2] According to Almon's FindAGrave memorial, they had a son, Arad Pitts, who was born in 1840.[3]
After the deaths of her husband in 1880 and her sister-in-law Marinda (Pitts) Thompson in 1882, Harriet (Soper) Pitts married Marinda's widower, Cyrus Thompson, of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.[2]
Death
Harriet (Soper) (Thompson) Pitts died on 26 Feb 1897. She is buried beside her first husband at the Gibbs Mill Cemetery in Livermore, Maine, where her gravestone gives her age at her death as 84 years, 1 month..[4]
