Biography

Joseph Alma Sorensen was born on December 5, 1883 in Mayfield, Sanpete County, Utah, United States. He is the son of John Sorensen and Kirstine Sandersen.

He married Marinda Petrina Jorgensen on March 2, 1904 in Manti, Sanpete County, Utah.^[1][2][3] Their children were born in Mayfield.

1. Alton Alma Sorensen was born in 1905.
2. Erna Minnie Sorensen was born on September 13, 1907.
3. Ernest John Sorensen was born on September 13, 1907.
4. Joseph Leo Sorensen was born in 1910.
5. Burdell Christian Sorensen was born on February 29, 1912.

Joseph passed away at ana ge of seventy-three on January 24, 1957 in Gunnison, Sanpete County, Utah. He is buried in the Mayfield Cemetery.^[4][5]
