Biography

Charles was born in January 1861 in Florida. He was the son of Charles Lewis Sowell and Annie Lucille Jernigan. Charles passed away in September 1923 in Gadsden County, Florida and is buried in Eastern Cemetery, Quincy, Gadsden County.^[1]

Charles married Carrie Luttrell on 22 October 1885 in Calhoun County, Alabama.^[2]

Charles married second Jennie Lindsey 11 April 1904 in Cona, Choctaw County, Alabama.^[3] After their marriage, they moved to Florida where Charles was born.
