The Immigrant ship ADAMANT made numerous voyages to the Australian Colonies and New Zealand.

The Iron barque Adamant was built in Hull in 1858 by Samuelson. She carried immigrants to the South Australian colony, New Zealand, between 1863 and 1877. She is recorded as being wrecked on the west coast of America on 14th of April 1890. From Passengers in History an initiative of the South Australian Maritime Museum

Not to be confused with the 2 different Convict and immigrant ships of the same name which made seperate Voyages to the Australian Penal Colonies earlier in the century. [1] & [2]
