The goal of this project is to gather and share information among bearers of the Anastasio or Anastasia Italian surname, their descendants, and people interested in the family, its origins, and its members.
Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Jesse Sierke.
Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.
- Identifying major Italian regions and communities where the name is common;
- Tracing the Anastasio Family’s routes as part of the Italian Diaspora;
- Exchanging amazing family recipes, such as my Great Grampa Nick Anastasio’s meatballs.
